"Last week we were forced to let our 18 year old grand cat cross the Rainbow Bridge. The entire staff was wonderful with Emily and very compassionate. Today we received a sympathy card from the staff that we loved. We cannot thank them enough or give any higher recommendation than to say if your family member needs help we urge you to take them to Urgent Pet Care. The late Queen Elizabeth said it the best...the price of love is grief. 3/16/2025 This is actually our third visit and the second for our little guy Louis, an eight year old British Bombay. I do not know what happened to our second review. Both visits were for constipation. During his last episode he was also coughing and sneezing which was diagnosed as asthma. The Doctor cleared that up readily with an enema and meds for the asthma. So back again with the constipation. Another enema, blood panel and dietary changes. A late night for the incredible staff. The tech, Emily, was extremely calming, caring, knowledgable and professional. Dr. Westfall, treated him like he was one of her own. The extraordinary compassionate staff at this facility is top drawer for any emergency. I only wish they provided regular visits as well. Thank you once again."

"Urgent Pet Care of Papillion is awesome. The photo is my sweet furry baby sleeping in my arms. This is her story: 8 PM on a Monday evening, I took my sweet little dog in a lot of pain to an emergency clinic near 96th & Q because my vet's office was closed. A vet tech looked at her & said she was not urgent. Therefore, there was a wait of around 2 hours just to see a vet. At that time, my senior dog was in obvious pain with rapid breathing and not using a front leg after jumping down off the couch. While still in their waiting room, I called Urgent Pet Care of Papillion. They told me to bring her right over to see her at 8:30 PM. When I arrived, carrying my dog, who couldn't walk in, their vet tech also did an assessment with a different viewpoint & said her gums were pale, panting hard due to pain & took us directly into a room immediately. The vet saw her right away. Both the vet tech & vet were caring and top-notch. They assessed and treated her with care and concern. She is now much better with their recommendations. It turned out to be a sprain without a break in a senior dog. Thank God. She was given anti-inflammatory medication and something for pain as needed. Amazingly enough, they also did follow up with a text later in the week to check on her progress. Although vets do this, I haven't heard of emergency rooms ever doing follow-up, so this was a pleasant surprise & further demonstrating great care and concern. In addition, my vet's office confirmed that the urgent care records were already faxed to their office for their information and follow-up care. I'm so impressed by this urgent care business. "I just put my cat down, it's a very hard time at the moment that I'm writing this review, however, I want to express my thank you to all the vets that helped me on this very hard moment, we knew my nugget (the name of my cat) was very sick, and that put him down was the most realistic option, here, they helped me into make this process as smooth as possible, understanding that you're losing you're best friend and isn't an easy moment.
